Product Selection
We recommend the optimal MAGBED configuration.
- If you enter the horizontal and vertical dimensions, the system will recommend the optimal MAGBED configuration.
- The calculation results are based on the dimensions entered. For accurate product selection and consultation, please contact the MAGBED Division at Tel. +82 051-831-7060.
- If the horizontal dimension exceeds 1,500 mm or the vertical dimension exceeds 555 mm, please contact us separately.

Operating Instructions and Precautions
- When lifting or transporting the MAGBED, turn the magnetic force ON after placing the lifting eye-bolt plate in the center of the MAGBED.
- Turn ON the magnetic force after checking to ensure that there are no foreign objects on top of the MAGBED surface and that workpieces are safely placed elsewhere.
- When bringing a workpiece into contact with MAGBED while the magnetic force is ON, it may attach suddenly and bodily injury may occur. Exercise caution. The emitted magnetic field may also damage electronic devices.
- Before beginning machining, confirm that the workpiece is securely attached to the MAGBED. As shown in the below table, note that the holding force varies depending on the workpiece material, thickness, shape, and other characteristics.
- The workpiece must be attached to at least two protective blocks corresponding to the N and S poles. Holding force increases as a greater portion of the workpiece makes contact with the protective blocks.
- After confirming that machining has been completed, use the detachable switch lever to rotate the system to the OFF position.
- With certain special steels, the workpiece may not be immediately detachable after machining due to the material characteristics, and it may take some time for residual magnetism to dissipate.

Holding Force by Material

-
Holding Force by Surface Roughness

The workpiece surface should be a machined surface. The smoother the surface,
with a surface roughness of 6.3㎛ or better, the closer the holding force will be to 100%. -
Holding Force by Workpiece Thickness

-
Holding Force by Gap

If a gap forms between the workpiece and the MAGBED working surface
due to dust, impurities, foreign matter, or other causes, the holding force will decrease.
